Dried milk or milk
powder is a product obtained by removal of water from milk by heat or other
suitable means to produce a solid containing 5.0 percent or less moisture.Whole
milk, partially skimmed milk or skimmed milk may be used for drying.

classified in a number of ways viz: Based on type of direr used,fat content of
milk, heat applied, method of manufacture, special dried product made from
milk.
