Monitoring of milk
losses would be accomplished in two ways. It would be either done by the
production people as part of their routine task or by other personnel independent
of the concerned production work. The second type of monitoring is more
independent than the former one and would be used as a source of effective feedback
for the senior management to exercise suitable improvement actions. In both the
case an effective checklist will serve as a guiding tool.
