The main constraints in adoption of different measures for clean milk production are:
- Level of awareness among rural population producing milk.
- Low threat perception
- Lack of quality norms or legislation
- Milk procurement is obligatory irrespective of quality
- Low level of mechanical processes to collect the milk from farm to dairy dock
- Poor technical knowledge and available infrastructure facilities for collection and chilling of milk.
